Dual Survival – Fan Page

Dual Survival is an American reality cable television series aired on the Discovery Channel. The show features a pair of survival experts in challenging environments.  For the first two seasons the show featured the differing outdoor survival philosophies and skills of Cody Lundin, a naturalist and primitive-skills expert who runs the Aboriginal Living Skills School in Arizona and Dave Canterbury, a military-trained survival instructor who runs the Pathfinder Training School in Ohio. Season 3 will feature Joseph Teti instead of Canterbury.

In Dual Survival’s first two seasons, each episode features Lundin and Canterbury in a different survival situation like being marooned on a deserted island, lost in a forbidding jungle, or stranded in an arid desert. They then have to survive for a number of days with minimal gear.  Along the way, Lundin and Canterbury demonstrate various survival skills such as using primitive methods to make fire and obtaining potable water.

Canterbury has been replaced by Joseph Teti, a retired Force Recon Marine and former Army Special Forces Green Beret.

  1. Really liked last night’s episode! Watching them boil the water to drink really made me appreciate my kitchen faucet.

Would love to volenteer for a show to be desserted on an island or something just to find out how much survival information is or can be retained by your average fan like myself in average condition in unaverage situations. It would make a great show. This concept is actually my two boys idea as they keep saying I was made for this kind of show. Big kudos on the show as I am a BIG fan.

  3. I really wish Canterbury had not been replaced with Teti. Really miss Dave, I loved the show so much more when he was on it. That being said I doubt they’ll ever bring him back. Unfortunate in my opinion.
